We just returned from our rescheduled trip to Cozumel. As members of Great Lakes Aquanauts Scuba Club, we were supposed to have arrived on October 22 -- but Wilma beat us there! We were amazed at the devastation of the vegetation as our plane flew over the island, but we were more than delighted with the accommodations and the diving at Scuba Club Cozumel. The clarity of the water was amazing. It was interesting to see all the sand that had washed over the shallow reefs, but it was also fascinating to see that below about 50 feet, there was still abundant fish and fauna life. We had five glorious days of diving and saw at least a half dozen spotted eagle rays, big French angels and groupers, many large lobsters actually out during the daytime crawling around, one big green starfish and at least 150 foot vis. The resort was in excellent shape complete with new sand on the beach and while we were there, construction of the new boat dock was being completed. Everything about our stay was excellent. After being there, we have no reservations about taking a trip there, in fact, we highly recommend it.

First I would have to say bravo to all of the staff at scuba club. This was my first stay with SCC and it was remarkable!!! The food was great, the room was beautiful, and the diving was excellent! Our divemaster Nester was the best. He was kind, informative, and very helpful showing us all the beautiful things there was to see!! It was nice to go on vacation and not be treated like just another customer, but like a friend. In the future when I come to Cozumel I will not need to look for a place to stay because I already know. Again I would like to say thank you for a wonderful time and hope to see you all soon!!!

We spent April 1 to April 8, 2006 with the Scuba Club family. The service was outstanding, the food was fantastic and the water was perfect. Even though the island has been decimated in many locations south and north of San Miguel, Scuba Club Cozumel is in top shape and the downtown area is almost fully recovered. We loved every minute of our stay thanks to the friendly staff. Francisco, Norma, Manuel, Saul, Tomas and the housekeeping staff's many smiles helped make this vacation one of our best.

Wow! Another fabulous stay at Scuba Club, which is just as impressive as ever. The reefs were still fantastic with (in some places) more fish than I remember from before. Lots of smaller fish and larger reef formations, plus, the shore diving is much better -- we saw a sharp tail eel, a couple of flounder, squid, octopus, sea horses, and lots of damsel fish. Also saw more turtles and rays than we've seen in the past. Mario and Edgar really made us feel at home. You guys are fantastic!!! I can't wait to go back! We noticed that it wasn't just Scuba Club that has recovered so well, but the island as a whole. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay at Scuba Club so wonderful. We can't wait to see you all again!

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my last trip down there, We had a group of 8 down the week of February 27th,2006 and as always we had a great time and were treated wonderful by the great staff at the scuba Club. I believe that the place is in better shape than before the huricane and I can't believe how quickly it has been put back into shape after hearing the stories and seing the pictures, it's a testiment to the employees at the best dive resort I've ever been at. The reefs have changed but the changes have been good, the diving was great, I saw more Eagle and Southern Rays than ever before. Turtles,Sharks,BIG Lobsters,a HUGE Moray, Drum Fish, The great Splendid Toad and even a Seahorse right out in front on a shore dive. It was great to see how the Island has recovered and I can't wait to get back. A special thanks to "Pancho" for taking us on great dives as always!

Just got back 2/21/06-2/27/06 And the staff was great, the place was great, still building back from hurricane but can't really tell anymore.I would say it's a great place to say for divers not much off the shore to see. Most of the reefs don't have much coral after the hurricane but starting to see some life now.
I WOULD GO BACK

One of the very few dive destinations that is totally wheelchair accessible and has W/C rooms. Tim, your boat crew handled me and the chair with ease, again. As I've been before I knew how good the service was but my family was amazed at how special everyone was treated. Thank you for a great week's diving! Best to all, Ron Stead, Burnaby BC Canada

Once again the Chico Crew will be coming to our favorite place to dive. This year there will be nineteen of us. Seventeen of those are experieced divers. The majority of those have been to Scuba Club many times before, and are looking forward to returning. These are people who have been to some of the most reknown diving sites around the world. Yet, when it gets down to it they always come back to Scuba Club at least once a year.

For Wanda and I this will be our twentieth straight year diving at Scuba Club We would not return there if the service and safety weren't the best.

We finally figured out a way to avoid being disappointed with the other dive operations where we have been around the world. This year we will start in Australia and dive the Great Barrier Reef then on to Figi and finally to Scuba Club saving the best for the last stop. We have always done this the other way around and Scuba Club has made it hard to be happy with other dive operations.

The quality of the people who work at Scuba Club is superior. Tim and his crew in the dive shop, Sophie and the front office and Mario and the dining operation, combine to make the service rank with the top dive operations in the world. Keep in mind that Scuba Club is a dive operation not a country club for those who are seeking recreation beyond diving.

The Chico crew will be arriving on the 10th of June and hope to retain our titles in volleyball and basketball. This is really not recreation It is a personal battle between Scuba Club and Chico State University.

I would really like to say "THANKS". In the first part of February 2 of my students headed to SCC to complete their open water training. I had done their academics and pool portion and they were headed south to do their open waters. Jose was their instructor. What a great job! They just got back and were all smiles and I wanted to pass along their experience. The lady was very nervous to be in the ocean for the first time and Jose put his hand out and made her feel comfortble. They saw all they could have imagined and Jose was just as excited to show them the reef as they were to see. Another great job! They also were all applause the the rest of the diving staff and the restaurant! Thanks

Just returned from visit to Scuba Club Cozumel with Toucan Dive Group. Excellent diving and accomodations. Housekeeping, restaurant, and dive staff all wonderful. Some suggestons: Dive boats should be supplied with baskets of fresh towels for guest...some of trips are an hour or so and towels would be greatly appreciated. Also fresh fruit..melon slices, etc would be weclome during surface intervals on 2-tank trips. Hope to be back soon. Best regards to all the staff...

Hello everyone,
We wanted to let you know what a great experience we had the week of December 3rd. Despite the hurricane, it was hard to believe the Scuba Club had sustained damage. And the little we saw was fast being repaired. The impeccable service, food and rooms are still excellent and evident. The diving looks a little different underwater but as usual lots and lots of life to see. We highly recommend everyone go to see our friends at the Scuba Club. You will be as impressed as ever. We were!

Dear Sophia

It is Christmas eve and I woke up thinking of you and the people of Cozumel I hope that your lives are getting back to normal. I am not a person that writes many letters but I felt I needed to let you now how much Julie and I appreciated the help you and everyone at the hotel gave us. You stayed on the phone for days trying to make arrangements for everyone to get home and dealt with desperate people in a kind and understanding way even though you and your family were having to deal with the damage the storm did to your homes and lives, even as Julie And I were standing in line waiting to go into the airport Edgar who was there sending his family to the mainland until conditions on the island got better took time to help us with the language barrier. The day I walked though town looking for medicines friends though it would be dangerous to walk alone under those conditions but I found everyone I met very helpful and the one thing I remember most about that day was how people werenÌt standing around waiting for someone to help them everyone was busy cleaning up the town. When people ask me about the storm I tell them its something I would not want to experience again but if you have to be in a hurricane Scuba Club Cozumel is the best place to be.

Merry Christmas Mike & Julie Snook

To everyone at SCC,
Great job!!! The entire staff should be very proud of what they have accomplished in such a short time since Wilma. The resort and resort facilities continue to be top notch. And the reason for that is the staff. We were disappointed that we could not be at SCC for our annual Halloween party because of Wilma. But were very happy to help bring in the Christmas season with a "warmup" fiesta. Thank you SCC.
The marine life is great. Multiple spotted eagle rays on almost every dive. Morays on every dive. Octopus on almost every dive (day and night). Turtles on every dive. Nurse sharks on almost every dive. More and bigger swim throughs. Thank you Wilma.
The diving, accomidations, and staff continue to be the best. As they say, "Free Willy".

I can hardly wait to get to Cozumel and Scuba Club. I will arrive Christmas Eve and stay through the New Year. This will be my 4th trip this year and hope to keep up the pace next year. I am going to have 4 new dive customers with me. They have been to Cozumel but have never stayed with the wonderful "family" at Scuba Club. See you Saturday.

All I can say is "I am impressed!" My family owns two dive shops and I run one of them. Needless to say we have a very active travel schedule visiting resorts and destinations around the world and also operate our own charter service. I have been coming to the Scuba Club now for about 15 years. I did not think their staff could impress my any more than they already had.

We were supposed to arrive in October the Saturday that hurricane Wilma hit the island. Well we did not obviously make it then, but I just go back with my group of 20+ customers. The staff and service was amazing. It was almost hard to tell that there was even damage to the resort (other than the main peir is missing.) The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy on land and in the water. I have my favorite meals that Mario made sure we had. Sophia was great in helping us get to the island when our flights got messed up and we were delayed. Someone made sure we had hammocks to relax in. And of course we had our dance floor for our Halloween party (yes in December)

Francisco and Ariel did an awesome job on the water. The reefs do look different. What I noticed was there was actually more marine life swimming on the reef since last year and there is more reefs exposed than before the store. The icing on the cake was as we were getting ready for our twighlight dive a manta jumped out of the water next to the boat!

Thanks to all the staff and I can not wait to come back next year!

I wanted to thank everyone at Scuba Club Cozumel for a fantastic week! My wife and I had come down from San Diego last week after having to reschedule our vacation as a result of Wilma. We had made plans to stay at another resort on the island the last week of October but Mother nature had other plans. As devistating as the huricane was for the island and its residents, it was a turn of good luck for us as it allowed us to stay the week with one of the best dive operations we have ever visited. Your staff was very accommodating, professional and knowledgable while providing an environment that is exclusively dedicated to divers - on a land based resort!

Your staff has done a miraculous job putting the resort back together. When inside the resort, one would never know the devistation that Wilma brought to the region.

We are currently sharing our experiences and photos with our dive friends and have already compiled a substantial group who will be visiting your resort in the very near future. My wife and I travel the world and had recently spent 3 years operating a dive boat (among other things)in the Persian Gulf so I have a good understanding how challenging it can be, even under the best conditions. We have both agreed, without question that we will add Scuba Club Cozumel to our list of annual (if not more often) dive trips. Outstanding!

My husband and I were among the first group of 12 guests since Hurricane Wilma. For me it was the first time diving at Cozumel. I found the Palancar Gardens to be spectacular and enjoyed the good visibility and drift diving. Our divemaster Manuel helped one of our new divers enjoy her first real warm water diving. We also had 2 in our party get married underwater right in front of the hotel despite a somewhat strong surge that day. The maitre d' Edgar helped us get the wedding cake ready and we had a very meaningful ceremony celebrated later with dinner and dessert.

It seemed that the larger hotels were more damaged. Everyone was working really hard to repair the rooms facing the water and restore the beach and plants to their former state. Despite being there before the official opening on Nov 15th we felt our stay was all that we had hoped for and wish not only Scuba Club Cozumel but the whole island good luck with their reconstruction.

Just returned from Scuba Club, Sunday, November 27, one of the first groups after the hotel reopened November 15. I am happy to report that the dive sites we visited were in good shape. The Scuba Club staff and dive operation was back to business a usual. Many of the trees are regrowing their leaves and repairs to Scuba Club appear almost complete. I highly recommend divers visit Scuba Club for a great dive vacation.

In addition to the positive and glowing comments already made by others who sat through Wilma last month, I would like to add that, at least for the Columbia Scuba group, Scuba Club Cozumel housed, fed and cared for our group of 23 from Saturday when we were originally scheduled to return home until Thursday when we finally got out, ENTIRELY FREE! Wilma was not SCC's fault and they could legitimately have taken the position that we pay for the additional time we stayed but it didn't happen. Once again, this is a measure of the type of people who own, manage and operate this facility. I loved SCC the first time I went there four years ago and have returned every year since then. But as a result of what happened to our group during Wilma, I have an added appreciation for the kindness and dedication of this lovely and phenomenal group of people. I can't wait to go back next year and every year after that for as long as I can.

Being my first open water dive, i was not sure what to expect at cozumel..Stepping into the resort, i immediately fell in love with the resorts charm and warm inviting ambiance. I was treated like family, addressed by name, waited on patiently, and got to know my waiters, maids, and dive staff on a first name basis. The dive staff was wonderful and i enjoyed three days of great sites before the hurricane hit. But it was during these days of no power, no fresh water and high waters that i saw what really makes the scuba club indeed a treasure..these people pulled together and went to work to protect their resort, their boats, but most importantly, i saw the importance they put on their visitors..they moved us to safe rooms, made sure that even in the midst of the worst part of the storm, that we had food and fresh water to drink, and candles to stave off the darkness. This truly could have been an ultimate horrible time, but my fears were put to rest knowing that they took care of me and my group like we were family to them.. fot this i will truly be grateful and know that my safe return to the states was due to the resort owners and their wonderful staff..Scuba club, you have earned my loyalty and i am doing my best to advertise for you up in the states..you are the only resort i will stay at when i come back again!! Muchas Gracias.

After two weeks of WONDERFUL diving we got word of Wilma approaching. Truly, it was a horrendous experience to be in such a dangerous storm but the staff at Scuba Club took every measure they could to make us safe and comfortable. I am so impressed with the resiliency of the Mexican people and how they met the challenge and that was and is a big one to repair the damage to the resort. They had many guests to feed and care for as well as recover from the damage in a timely way. Thank you to the whole staff; the boat crews, the divemasters, the dining room staff, the office staff, the cleaning staff........truly wonderful to all of us making it as comfortable as they possibly could since we could not leave the island.

We were all amazed by all of the hard work and the progress you guys made with getting everything cleaned up and ready for guests to return! Tim, Patricia, Sofia, Edgar, Mario and Staff-

I can not tell you guys thank you enough for taking such great care of our group of 25 from Scuba Outfitters. We arrived on Oct. 15th and were se to leave on Oct. 22nd. We were in Cozumel when Wilma hit and Edgar and the staff members that stayed with us took great care of us. The resort kept us well informed and made sure we all had food and water during and after the Hurricane. Once the hurricane passed the food service returned back to "normal" and we were well cared for until we were able to leave on Oct. 27th. Mario even came to work before 5:00am on Thursday the 27th to make sure we were fed before going to the airport. Our group will be back to Cozumel and the only place to stay is Scuba Club Cozumel! Thanks again.

My wife Marie and I were part of the Columbia Scuba group which came October 15 and had our stay unexpectedly extended by Hurricane Wilma! While experiencing a Cat 5 hurricane wasn't something we'd planned on, if I had to have that experience I'm glad it was on this island of Cozumel, in this hotel, and with this group of people!

The staff prepared as well as anyone possibly could have prepared. No one had anticipated the storm sitting on us from 10 PM Thursday until 10 AM on Saturday. The staff had provided us with food and water and tried everything possible to ensure our safety. Edgar in particular did an outstanding - even heroic - job of supporting and protecting the guests.

As the weather cleared, guests and staff alike pitched in with the cleanup and the courtyard was sparkling by late Sunday - albeit without many of the beautiful palm trees which had graced it previously. The staff served a hot meal in the afternoon. By Monday, we had emergency power and running water restored. By Tuesday, sliding glass doors were being replaced, people were chipping paint, breaking chunks of concrete with sledgehammers, and scrubbing the rooms. When we finally got word that Continetal Air had sent several planes on Thursday, Sofia even came to the airport with the guests to see us off and help with any problems.

Oh - and the 3 days of diving that we had prior to Wilma's arrival were great too! The twilight dive on Tuesday featured everything you might hope to see on an evening dive rolled into one: moray, octopus, nurse shark, turtles, lobsters and crabs.

Thanks again to all the staff for your care. We'll be back!

Dear Tim & Patricia,
I was with you in October with the Scuba Outfitters group when Wilma arrived.
It was my first visit to Mexico, and to say the least it's a trip I will always remember for many reasons. I want you to know how much I appreciate all your efforts and hospitality. Your normal day to day service from everyone on your staff was excellent, but when Wilma arrived the the care and service went to a new level given the conditions. It was outstanding. I learned a lot about your people, your country, and myself. It was all a great experience. I will always remember the friendly wonderful attitude of the people. You have such a great spirt about you. I want to thank you for all your kindness. I feel I have made new friends. I wish you well and a speedy safe recovery.
Thank you very much,

I was at Scuba Club during Hurricane Wilma. The resort held up pretty good. The staff was amazing. With all the devistation the island took and with families of their own, the staff took amazing care of us. They made sure we had plenty of water and food. They were up and running in no time. I cannot say enough good things about Scuba Club. Can't wait to get back.

Dan, my favourite "buddy" and I just returned from what can only be described as a blissful week at Scuba Club Cozumel.
Between us, we have had the great fortune to visit several countries with different beautiful dive locations; this trip to Cozumel being a first for both of us. We loved it!
Scuba Club is a wonderful resort for avid divers and we logged 17 dives with nearly the same number of hours bottom time. Although some of the sites require trips of over an hour on the boats...turquoise seas, sunshine, nice, comfortable dive boats and friendly crew make the ride a pleasure. Our DM, Carla was charming and attentive and always managed to find wonderous creatures on all 11 boat dives...each time to a different site. Unlike other resorts we have visited, we were fortunate and there were no repeats...though I doubt we would have had a problem with visiting any of the sites a second time. This is beautiful diving and the diversity and abundance of life is such that one could dive the same spot numerous times and it would never feel repetitive.
The unlimited shore diving was definitely a selling point in our choice and we were not disappointed. The depth averages about 20', which allows for liesurely dives spent poking about the nice little artificial reef they have created, or the grassy areas out a bit farther from shore. (try a little drift dive from the lighthouse back to the resort. 3 dollar cab ride, 45 minute drift)
There is plenty to see in the yard during the day; eels, crabs, lobsters, rays and of course countless fish species...but at night...amazing! We enjoyed several night dives with the shallows allowing for bottom times of well over 100 minutes with plenty of air to spare. On one dive, we saw 8 Octopii in addition to the myriad of sleeping parrots and angels and the two giants that we visited regularly---a lobster so large that each of his antennae was the length of Dan's arm, and the Burrfish (?) that was over 3' and as big around as a rolled sleeping bag.
Though we did not go for the food, it was plentiful and tasty and the service was very friendly. (There was a vegetarian dish offered at every meal as well.)
The rooms are beautiful. Spacious and private and yet still incredibly close to the restaurant and the pier---and what views! We were completely enchanted with the accomodations.
It was a perfect week, between the diving, the resort and the weather.
We both agreed that this was the nicest vacation either of us has enjoyed. Many thanks! Can't wait to return!

My wife and I just spent a week at the SCC and this was our first time at SCC. To give you some useful information let me give you some background. I researched all the different hotels at Cozumel and finally settled on SCC based on some criteria important in my decision making. I wanted a small hotel with a meal plan that had a nice dive operation and was reasonably priced. I read many different comments on many different forums and narrowed my choices to Fiesta Americana, Reef Club and the SCC and finally settled on SCC, because of their special price for the months of September and October. Although price was not on the top of my list but it was a factor and I am glad we chose SCC. The hotel (club) as I mentioned is a small operation that caters to divers, which is very important. The room was clean and nice and the maid service was excellent. The food is prepared to order or you can order from the menu. This means that you get made to order food and no!
t some buffet food which sits out there for hours. The wait staff is great, very attentive, nice and pleasant. It was a joy to have Tomas, Jesus and others to wait on us. The front desk personnel and others were also very accommodating. As for the dive shop let me just say one word. Superb. Under the guidance of Raymundo, the dive operation which includes all the dive masters and the boat crew, take the extra step to make sure that you have a great dive. Both dive masters, Nestor and Manuel (Free Willy), were extra helpful in taking their time in preparation and the actual dives. Little Buddha helped on every trip to set up our tanks and made sure all of our equipment were in order for the dives. They all helped in making every dive a great experience. All in all we were very happy with our stay at SCC and we have them on top of our list for whenever we go back to Cozumel. Thank you everybody at SCC.

ey everyone!! I know you might not remember me, but you might remember my dad Peter Torres. We used to come down there quite a bit to go scuba diving with his classes from CAL DIVE and TRAVEL. Anyways for anyone that is wanting to visit Cozumel and want to scuba, this is definatly the place to go. The last time i was there was when i was 12, and now i'm 22, but i can still remember the food, the diving and i can still remember falling asleep is those hammocks when the waves were crashing up on the pier. Thanks for giving me such a great experience as a kid it is really something i will never forget. Thanks a bunch to the former Galapago Inn, Thats Patricia and Jesus...gracias :)

Patricia & SCC Staff,
We had the best time at SCC than we've ever had any where else in Cozumel. We've stayed at many hotels and SCC is hands down the absolute best. The service was beyond belief, the dives were incredible, the food was to die for, the resort was beautiful and last but not least, the people that work at SCC are greatest. Jesus, Isabel, Patrica, Antonio, Miguel, all were wonderful. We will book again and we are telling everyone about what a nice place it is. The memories you have given us will be with us forever. Thank you for a great time and we hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

My husband and I returned August 8 from SCC. It was our first time there, but it WON'T be our last!! We had a wonderful time. The resort is quiet (I have never slept so well on a vacation!) and clean, the food's great, and the water is spectacular. We went on a night dive and saw so many octopi we stopped counting, along with lots of other treats. Francisco was our divemaster for our five days (well, four of the five) and he was great. Some friends met us there midweek, and they loved it also. Thanks for a truly memorable vacation! See you soon!

We had the best vacation at the Scuba Club Cozumel. We came after the hurricane Emily, the hotel and all the operation is not affected by hurricane. This is nice and clean hotel, the food was excellent, friendliest staff and very helpful. I would like to say thank you to the staff at Scuba Club. Special thanks to Sophia, Reef Diver crew, Raymundo, and Martine. We never dive, after received the certified last year. My wife is not very confident under the water. She just learns how to swim last summer. When we arrival to SCC, she said, she only go for one dive and I pay for 7 days and 5 dive package. The first day Sophia took my wife dive at the shore and she gain more confident. The next morning we do not want to dive. Raymundo come to offer for my family (my two kids) and other two guests on small boat with one dive master. He said do not worries the dive master will take care. First dive my wife go with Martine, I follow both of them. When finish first dive, she go again on second dive. Here again, she continue go everyday in the morning and completed 9 dives. Thanks to Sophia and Martine and Raymundo for the memory video. Thanks to restaurant staff and Mario. MarioÌs son in-law gives me a tour to Chich»n Itz…. All hotelsÌ staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not offer any water sport, but if you want to go, the font desk will call outside and reserve for you. I select the SCC, because the staff are friendly, Dive masters are knowledgeable and safety for my wife. If you want to have good dives, friendly staff, safety dive and not many rules and paper work (big hotels). This is place for you.

I would like to say thank you to the staff at Scuba Club. I brought a group of sixteen divers from Underwater Sports in Washington state. I was tentative to bring a group down with hurricane Emily headed for Cozumel. As it turned out, Emily did strike, but the resort was organized and well prepared. We did not miss a meal and our two lost days of diving were easily made up. I am already planning next year's return. Special thanks to Tim, Sophia, Reef Diver crew, Miguel, Nestor and Martine, and the dining staff. Your dedication and effort is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Stan Groomer

We take trips to Cozumel 3 times a year to dive and relax. Anyone looking for the perfect place you must try Scuba Club. Tim you have a wonderful operation and do a fantastic job making everyone feel at home. You should feel proud. We have had a chance to dive with all of the divemasters and everyone of them are execellent. Yes we have our favorite and you know who you are :) but I would dive with any one of the staff. Thanks Gieser, Raymundo, Juan, Franscio, Free Willy, Jesus, Ariel, Marteen and William for making our group always feel at home. Yes, I Love Scuba Club and we feel like the staff there is our second family. Mario, you are great and do whatever you can to make everyone feel special. The resturant staff are very friendly and helpfull. Last I can't forget the deck hands. They are fantastic at everything they do. I can't say how many times they stopped me from doing something stupid, I always forget those darn weights. There are many hotels and resorts on Cozumel along with hundreds of dive operations. Scuba Club sets a standard for others to follow, but no one on the Island can compete. WE just certified our kids and their first dives will be at Scuba Club this August. What else can we say, thats how much we trust the staff.

Visited over Memorial Day weekend and week. Great diving and excellent divemasters and boat crews. Great food and ideal location. Shore diving was excellent and sea life abundant, especially at night. Reefs were in good shape and recovering from hurricane action. Would highly recommend the resort and will be returning next year for another visit.

Visited Scuba Club Cozumel mid-May 2005. Diving excellent, coral healthy, plentiful fish life. Dive masters and boat captains and crews were knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. Would recommend Scuba Club Cozumel to anyone interested in diving--novice or long-time diver.

I first stayed at the hotel in 1982 when it was called the Galapago Inn. I've stayed there the total of 12 times since, three trips I took my wife and kids. It's the only hotel I will ever stay in while I'm in Cozumel. It's sort of like home and the staff including the dive staff and boats are all so professional and still friendly at the same time. I can't wait until I visit there again. Thanks for all the memories!

Just returned today, April 10th, from a wonderful vacation at Scuba Club. Great service from every single staff person. Awesome diving opportunites. Cannot say enough about this organization. We looked at other hotels but the charm and hospitality that we had at Scuba Club can't be beat. Will be back as soon as we can! Bill and Jeannie

My son and I had a wonderful vacation at the Scuba Club from March 19 - 24. This is a divers paradise. All you need to do is sleep, eat, and dive! The location is perfect - you can walk to downtown or you can stay at Club the entire time. We really enjoyed the staff and service, and were especially pleased with the bottled water coolers on every floor. The grounds and rooms are clean and well kept, there really isn't anything I found wrong with the entire operation. Highly recommended for divers of all levels.

We just returned from SCC last night. It was our first trip and we had a wonderful time. As everyone else has said, the staff and food were great, and rooms were very nice. Miguel Blanco was our DM and he made sure that we saw a variety of sea life and had great dives. We were on the Reef Star for most of our dives, and the crew was very always ready to lend a hand. We had such a great time, we are planning to return in August. This is truly a wonderful place to dive.

The Scuba Club Cozumel (SCC) was the best vacation I ever had
It is very clean, well kept and secure. Everyone was great, staff was devoted to making you happy. All the guests are great easy to make new friends. The food was excellent. Portions are decent, out of the week I was there I heard no one complain on the food, everyone actually raved over it. Make sure you bring your own amenities, no shampoo, lotion or tv & phones. Very relaxing without them. The beds are hard but comfortable; I never had a cold shower, and did not here of anyone else running out of hot water. The rooms are very quiet & spacious. Views are awesome.
The diving is great, the divemasters are very observant and if you want to see different things or need help there there. The shore diving is very good, especially for night diving. Make sure to bring locks because dive lockers are provided and are large enough for
2 divers gear per locker.

We spent 7 days at Scuba Club and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff is extremely accomodating and very friendly. Mario and the rest of the kitchen crew were fabulous. Scuba Club is comfortable and is catered specifically for diving. It isn't too far to walk into town and visit Senior Frogs, Carlos & Charlies and other local hot spots. I will be visiting there again. There are hammocks by the sea, so after a morning of diving and a very delicious lunch, you can just relax with a good book until your afternoon shore dive. I highly recommend this resort!!!

Oh, this is just great!! Now we can't get Cozumel or Scuba Club out of our heads and all we want to do is move to Quintana Roo! Don't go here unless you want to have constant daydreams of spotted eagle rays and queen angel fish! Thanks Jose' for making my first dives a life changing experience! We'll be back as soon as we can....know of any homes for sale close to SCC? Seriously...we are in love with Cozumel and Scuba Club! PS...Room 55 is the best cozy little 'penthouse' room we could ever have asked for!
Thanks!

Absolutely wonderful from start to end. These are good people from start to finish (including the guest). Integrity and honestey are the norm here. The gals doing reservations were careful and curtious. At the site, security was good, gracious and helpful. Front Desk personnel were friendly, informative and thourough. Housekeeping was a silent working machine. Dive Shop personnel have a sense of humor and are very helpful at all levels. Experienced dive guides and boat crews. Restaurant staff accomodating and gracious. Reef is very healthy. Diver's of all levels. Many taking courses while there (all levels). People come here to dive. They come as groups, couples and families. When not diving, there are plenty of other things to do. Dress is casual throughout. Bring your favorite dive T-shirts. Dress clothes are acceptable, but not needed. One tip, bring cash for tip money. No one will ask you for a dime during your stay (no pressure at all). A tip of about $125 to $150 per person per week to spread around the staff is reasonalble.

Recently back home from our 2nd Scuba Club vacation. Again we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at Scuba Club. The food continues to be great, rooms are clean as are the grounds. We enjoy the quiet relaxing atmosphere that Scuba Club provides and came away feeling very relaxed. If you are looking for a relaxing get-away in a small warm friendly atmosphere this is the place to go. Our most recent trip December 12th through the 20th, 2004 was for our 25th wedding anniversary which everyone at Scuba Club helped us to celebrate. Special thanks to Sophia for helping my husband with the wine and cake and to the housekeeping staff for the beautiful flowers and decorating in our room. As usual Octavio, Alsonso, Tomas and the rest of the restaurant staff were great and always make us feel special. Mariana is a super gal at the front desk, as usual she was very helpful with our many questions. The dive masters are the best. It was so nice and such a comfort to see the same dive masters and boat crew as last year, they are all wonderful! Thanks to everyone at Scuba Club for making our 25th wedding anniversary even more special, you are all fantastic! We will definetly be returning and highly recommend Scuba Club.

I stayed at SCC last oct 2004. Its a divers heaven. I remember breaking a fin strap on a new pair of fins and didnt have an extra in my Save a Dive Kit, they just gave me one right out of there on site dive shop. I did the all inclusive and only left the hotel a couple of times in the 7 days I was there. I went to a Super/Walmart mexican style just a few blocks down the street to get some wine. I even finished my rescue/diver cert while I was there. you can dive day or night right off the docks with a pool connected to the ocean. the food was great the service was great! I'll come back again and again.
