I have been diving since 1989. My stay at Scuba Club from July 23 to July 28, 2014 was the best dive vacation ever! My spacious room with the huge bath, great veranda and nice cool air conditioning was superb. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were outstanding, every day,at the club's on-site restaurant, the Fat Grouper Grill. The entire staff was always friendly and helpful. Special thanks to my friends on the crew of the Reef Cat for the great dive sites and hospitality on the boat. And finally, my gratitude to Master Scuba Diver Trainer Henry Zapata Lopez who taught me how to be an Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver and Enriched Air Diver while making it all fun and adventurous. Gracias mi amigos! Hasta Diciembre!

I've just returned from a fantastic week of diving at Scuba Club Cozumel. I want to thanks all the people that work there as a great team. Of curse that machine is put together by great management. The diving was out of this world but the fact that at the Club you just have the dive boat a few steps from your spacious ,clean and very well kept room makes you know that your day starts in the right direction. Like clockwork a fleet of comfortable and save dive boats departs on time every time. The crew and divemasters are very friendly and professional. The food at the hotel is great and you have a very good variety of dishes. Besides the two tank dive in the morning you have a choice of afternoon, night and unlimited beach diving. It is paradise.Again thanks to everyone that makes this possible. I'll see you again next year.

I had the wonderful experience of staying at Scuba Club from July 23 – 28, 2014. The facilities are excellent and the food is superb. I came to dive, to earn my Advanced Open Water certification and whatever specialties I could fit in. For this you need a dive shop with equipment, Nitrox and boats, a place to rest and relax and good food. Scuba Club has it all. If you want more, San Miguel is in walking distance or the security person at the front gate will get you a taxi within minutes. I have been a certified diver for 25 years. My dives have taken me from Long Island sound through the Caribbean to Hawaii. Scuba Club gave me the best experience I have ever had as a diver. In addition, I earned three certifications: Advanced Open Water Diver and the Specialties: Enhanced Air (Nitrox) Diver and Deep Diver.

Many thanks to all the staff (restaurant, housekeeping, grounds & security, Dive Shop and the front desk) who made it possible. Special thanks to Henry Zapata, my Master Scuba Diver Trainer; Mario at the restaurant, Raymundo at the Dive Shop, Norma at the front desk and the crew of the Reef Cat including Manuel Tzuc (my photographer – great shots Manuel!), Juan Be who kept me from falling back in and the Capitan, Martin Ceballos for getting us to great sites and picking us up quickly in the current.

If you are looking for an exemplary dive vacation, come to Scuba Club Cozumel. I will be returning in December 2014 for a week. This speaks highly because I have never gone to the same dive resort twice before. Mi Amigos de Scuba Club, estoy muy feliz!

We have just returned from another wonderful experience at SCUBA CLUB COZUMEL. In so many ways Scuba Club is our kind of diving experience. It is so laid back and relaxed that we can thoroughly enjoy the great company of new friends, the wonderful food, and the great diving. The staff is one of the most friendly of all diving operations we have experienced. The other advantage of this operation is that we are barely aware of the many cruise ships that arrive daily in Cozumel. While a walk downtown or to the supermarket or department store is always a nice diversion on days off from diving along with scooter and car rentals which the helpful office crew can arrange at very competitive rates.

The last time we were at Scuba Club I got an attack of kidney stones, not a welcome event in Mexico, but with a DAN clinic a few blocks away I spent the next three days in the facility with trips to the local hospital for diagnostics. I felt that I was very well taken care of. The folks at Scuba Club were also very helpful in setting this all up and helping with the many phone calls to DAN emergency medical people. It was also good to know that the DAN clinic also has a Hyperbolic Chamber in case of diving emergency.

All told, we think the world of the SCUBA CLUB and will be going back many times in the future. Especially in this world where the air travel has so much to do with the availability of a dive spot, and the excellent bottom.

I just left there after 10 days. I was SO very happy I experienced the Scuba Club Cozumel. Everything you read before this, that is positive is true. I can't imagine anything to be negatively reviewed on this place or these people. The staff is the best I have ever come across anywhere. The dives are awesome. There is no where else I would stay on the island and I went into a lot of hotels that are newer and fancier, but this location is the BEST. The boats are right there at the shore only a few steps away every single morning. The people who stayed here when I was there have been returning for years. I know why! I will surely return whenever I can and stay longer and dive more. I was telling people about the place online before I left the Scuba Club and I continue to tell more. I want them to have as many customers as they can get so they remain in business for when I return. Which I don't think they need my help for. Funny thing was I told someone there I would be telling everyone and they quickly said "NO, DON"T! " jokingly. A lady next to my room has been coming here for almost 30 years. Most of the others were returning anywhere from 5-10 years in a row. The food served daily was fresh, and delicious every single time. I never even heard of the place until I searched online. When I told my local Malibu Dive Shop where I was going they nodded with a resounding "good choice". Love this place! Thank you for all of your hard work Scuba Club Cozumel employees! You should be very proud!

I just got back from another awesome stay at Scuba Club Cozumel, and I would like to take a little time to share my thoughts on my favorite vacation destination. I have been fortunate to be able to take 3 trips a year, and many times have been able to take 4 trips. I have vacationed at Scuba Club Cozumel about 18 times; every April and several Oct./Nov. trips. If I was limited to only one trip a year, I would always choose Scuba Club. When you arrive at S.C.C., you will be greeted by Sophie and her incredible staff. Check in, orientation and registration with the dive shop are quickly accomplished, and the best week of your life is about to begin! You will meet Mario, the Maitre' D, and his staff of the best waiters I have ever met. They are the most efficient, professional and friendly group that you could ever hope for. The vast majority of them have been there since my first trip in 2000. Staff longevity speaks volumes about the whole work environment. Next is the dive operation. William and his group always go the extra mile to accommodate all your needs. You can arrange night dives, wreck dives, requests for Nitrox or any other special request that you may have. They will do everything within there power to put it together for you. The dive masters are incredible. Ariel, Francisco, Manuel and Geiser are some of the dive masters you will encounter. I am always blown away when they do a dive briefing. They have been diving these sites for over 15 years, and when they give the briefing, they make you feel that this dive is going to be the best dive you have ever had! They are constantly looking for something to point out to the group, they're not just along for the swim. The boat captains and crew are top notch. Cozumel is drift diving, and the captain is always aware of where you are. When you surface, you can always spot the boat. The crew is there to assist you with anything you need; help with your gear, bring you a drink, help you in and out of the boat. Scuba Club Cozumel is also a great destination for non-divers. There are many non-diving activities available in Cozumel: snorkeling, fishing, jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, under water scooters or just laying in the sun!! I have brought 2 of my non-diving friends to Cozumel the past 2 years, and they have loved it. So there you have it; great rooms, awesome food and incredible diving. I have had people tell me that there has to be something I don't like about Scuba Club Cozumel, and I have to admit that there is one thing I don't like. I don't like leaving!!! As my friend Ariel, the dive master says, "Okay guys, let's do it"!

A big thank you to everyone at SCC. My 78 year old father, my 16 year old daughter and I (44) enjoyed our stay at SCC last week. The gals at the front desk were quick to accommodate our ground level needs upon our arrival. The dive shop staff took care of all of our diving needs and were superb when we had an issue requiring the hyperbaric chamber. The dining staff was wonderful and very professional and the food was spectacular. Due to the small numbers the week we were there the upper dining room was closed and there was not a Wednesday night party, however, we were never disappointed in the main dining room. Snorkeling and shore diving in front of the resorts provided much to see and was very accessible, the boat dives were awesome for all of us, and the pool was very nice. My father has over 300 dive experiences, my daughter did a trip to Roatan last year and it was my first dive trip. The currents proved to be a bit too much for my elderly father in April but, as fairly inexperienced divers, my daughter and I did very well. Our dive master, Francisco, was excellent! He was friendly, knowledgeable, safe and patient. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first trip. The resort was within walking distance of shopping and a "Walmart" type store if there were any needs, the SCC Dive Store was right across from the resort and was adequately supplied with anything you might need in a diving pinch. I needed to replace my mask strap and my sea drops and they accommodated both requests easily and even sold me a SCC jacket. I will treasure this trip always and will probably return someday to commemorate the first dive I did with my dad and my daughter. Thank you SCC for everything.

We are looking forward to diving Cozumel again next week. The Scuba Club is an awesome resort that is so diver-friendly. I have never stayed anywhere else. We hope to dive Punta Sur.
